On Saturday, October 13, 42 students from the San Marcos High School Choir Department went to Churchill High School in San Antonio for the Texas Music Educators Association Region 12 Choir competition.
Thirty-eight of the students were selected for a Region 12 Region choir; thirteen students will be moving on to the Pre-Area auditions on Tuesday, November 27.
“We are so proud of the way they practiced and supported each other,” Dawn Sheridan-Reinhuber, San Marcos HS Choir Director, and Brigitte Smith, choir co-director, said. “We want to thank the students for that!”
