UPDATE: All applications applying to receive Blue Santa gifts must be turned in in person along with proof of residency.

The San Marcos Police Department is accepting monetary donations and new unwrapped toys (no stuffed animals) through Dec. 14 for its annual Blue Santa toy drive. Donations and toys may be delivered to the San Marcos Police Department at 2300 S IH-35, San Marcos, Texas.

There will also be donation barrels distributed for toy collections at several locations.

Barrels will be located at the Dollar General at 102 Willow Springs Drive and at Honda of San Marcos, 4300 IH-35 South.

This year, SMPD is partnering with the Five Below stores in Sunset Valley at 5207 Brodie Ln. Ste 190 and in New Braunfels at 251 Creekside Crossing.

The San Marcos Police Blue Santa program has been delivering toys to children who might not otherwise have Christmas gifts in San Marcos since 1972. Each year, the Blue Santa program provides gifts to 300-400 families.
