SMPD Investigates Holiday Burglary Cases

Items reported missing range from makeup to ice chests and a gun to electronics, such as game systems and computers.

The San Marcos Police Department is investigating several burglaries that took place over the holidays.

SMPD officers have responded to several reporters of burglaries while residents have been out of town. Several of the victims were Texas State University students.

Items reported missing range from makeup to ice chests and a gun to electronics, such as game systems and computers.

Police are awaiting the return of some victims to confirm what was stolen. The investigation is ongoing.
