SMPD Invites Residents To Have ‘Coffee With A Cop’

Join a cop for coffee to get to know your local community servants.

San Marcos police officers will hold another “Coffee with a Cop” event at Café on the Square (downtown at 126 N. LBJ) on Friday, Feb. 16 from 8:30-10:30 a.m.

“Coffee with a Cop” is a great way to bring police officers and residents together in a relaxed, casual setting that encourages the free flow of information. The coffee is free and provided by the restaurant.

“There’s no set agenda or program scheduled,” said Cpl. Laray Taylor of SMPD. “We just want to meet and talk with residents and find out what’s on their minds. This is also a great way for the community to get to know some of the officers that serve them.”

For more information, contact Cpl. Laray Taylor at 512.754.2270.
