SMPD Partners With Five Below For Blue Santa Fundraiser

The San Marcos Police Department will be at the grand opening of Five Below, 700 Barnes Drive, Friday, June 2 from 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. to meet and greet the public and showcase the department’s rescue vehicle.

In conjunction with the grand opening, Five Below is holding a fundraiser for the San Marcos Police Blue Santa Program.

During the grand opening weekend June 2-4, 10% of sales to customers presenting a special fundraiser card at the Five Below will be donated to the Blue Santa Program.

Fundraiser cards are available at the San Marcos Police Department, 2300 S IH-35 and online at www.sanmarcostx.gov/bluesanta.

Cards can be printed out or shown on cell phones to store clerks at the time of purchase.

The San Marcos Police Blue Santa Program has been providing Christmas toys for less fortunate children and families in our community since 1972.

For the past two years, the San Marcos Police Blue Santa Program and the SMPD Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association have partnered with Five Below stores in New Braunfels and Sunset Valley to provide quality toys and gifts for kids in the community.
