SMPD Responds To Train-Vehicle Collision on S Guadalupe St. In San Marcos

UPDATE: 4:25 PM: SMPD has reported that there are no critical injuries. However, the intersections will be blocked for some time.

UPDATE 4:15 PM: CM Allen and Hopkins are also blocked. Please use Aquarena Springs or Wonder World Drive when getting around town.

The San Marcos Police Department is responding to a train-vehicle collision on S. Guadalupe St. near the intersection with MLK Drive.

Officials have not released any information on how many people were involved or injured in the collision. However, multiple intersections will be closed for an indeterminate amount of time.

Officials are asking drivers to avoid the area including Northbound LBJ when traveling to and from the downtown area.
