SMPD Seeks Community’s Help In Investigation Of Sunday Morning Sexual Assault

The San Marcos Police Department announced an investigation into a sexual assault that occurred in the early morning hours of Sunday, March 24.

According to police, the incident occurred in the 600 Block of River Road near the Woods of San Marcos Apartments.

SMPD is seeking the public’s help in identifying a hard-top jeep and its occupant, who is suspected of being involved in the assault. The vehicle and occupant were caught on surveillance of a local gas station.
