SMTX City Council, P&Z Commission To Host Joint Downtown Design Workshop

The San Marcos City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission will be participating in a virtual, Joint Workshop to discuss downtown design on Thursday, June 25, at 6:30 PM.

The meeting will be held virtually on Zoom. A link to join the meeting will be posted at www.sanmarcostx.gov/downtowndesign.

The public can also watch the meeting televised live on Spectrum Ch.10 and Grande Ch.16 or 123-16 and video streamed online at www.sanmarcostx.gov/421/City-Council-Videos-Archives

The public is encouraged to send any questions during the meeting to planninginfo@sanmarcostx.gov.

Questions will be compiled and addressed following the meeting and will be posted on the project website. 

Initial outreach efforts for this project have included three stakeholder meetings in mid-April which were held virtually.

Click here to learn more about the big ideas from those meetings. A Kickoff Survey was also conducted in May to allow the community to weigh in on the process during the initial kickoff phase.
