SMTX THE BUS: Resolve To Ride Event

People may ride as many times as they want, so the more riders participate, the more likely they are to win the raffle

SAN MARCOS, TX – CARTS’ SMTX THE BUS is celebrating 2017 by hosting a New Year event.

SMTX THE BUS launched mid-October of this year, and residents of San Marcos have since been enjoying the new, spacious 29-seat bus with WiFi. SMTX THE BUS is San Marcos’ newer, cleaner, greener choice of transportation.

On Friday, Jan. 6, SMTX THE BUS will ring in the New Year with the Resolve to Ride event. SMTX THE BUS promotes healthy living and preserving our environment. All rides will be free to the public all day on Jan. 6, and with each ride people will receive a raffle to enter to win a Fitbit.

People may ride as many times as they want, so the more riders participate, the more likely they are to win the raffle. For an additional entry into the raffle, people may post a photo of them on the bus using the hashtag, #ResolvetoRide.

The event will also be encouraging healthy living by providing fitness tips to riders throughout the day and passing out free healthy snacks.
