• DOWNTOWN LOFTS APARTMENTS PROJECT —9/13/19 to 01/20/20— CONSTRUCTION
Traffic impacts include Fredricksburg Street at Hopkins Street to San Antonio, the southbound lane of Telephone Alley at Hopkins to San Antonio, Feltner Alley at San Antonio; will be closed due to construction starting September 13, 2019 – January 20, 2020. A.C.G. LLC 248.632.2311.
• WEST SESSOM DRIVE —11/25/19 to 01/31/20 — TEXAS STATE STORMWATER DRAINAGE
West Sessom Drive from Tomas Rivera Drive to North LBJ Drive will be closed starting Nov. 25 to Jan. 31, 2020, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for Texas State Storm Water Drainage Installation – Javier Barajas – 512.913.5080
• VICTORY GARDENS PROJECT —12/01/19 to 12/31/19— UNDERGROUND UTILITY INSTALLATION
The Victory Gardens Neighborhood will undergo a new underground utility installation with Impact to traffic on the following streets Georgia Street, Armstrong Street, Eisenhower Street, Camacho Street, McArthur Street, Virginia Street, and Churchill Street. • MILL STREET RECONSTRUCTION — May 2019 to Fall 2019 — RECONSTRUCTION OF WATERLINE SERVICES, POTHOLING
Mill Street between 500 and 700 blocks will have partial lane closure through the fall of 2019, for the reconstruction of waterline services and potholing. • HOPKINS STREET —Nov. 18, 2019 to Fall 2020 — UTILITY INSTALLATION
Hopkins Street will be closed starting November 18 – the fall of 2020 for a Road Widening Project and Underground Utility Installation. Richard Reynosa 512.393.8235.
• COERS STREET —10/01/2018 to 02/01/2020 — DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS
Coers Street between Old RR 12 to Owens Street will have southbound lane closure to through traffic starting October 1, 2018, to February 1, 2020, from 7 AM to 5:30 PM for drainage improvement. Denbow Company 512.264.2767.
• EASTBOUND CONCHO STREET —AUGUST 2018 to SUMMER 2020— CONSTRUCTION
Eastbound Concho Street between LBJ and Guadalupe will be closed, LBJ and Guadalupe will also have narrow lanes between University Drive and Concho Street, starting Aug. 6, 2018 through the summer of 2020 for Construction. 3411 Builders, Inc., Richard Bagby 832.449.0328.
• STUDENT CENTER DRIVE — JAN. 31, 2020 — LBJ STUDENT CENTER EXPANSION
Student Center Drive from Matthews to the North Loading Dock of the Alkek Library will be closed until January 31, 2020.
For the expansion of the LBJ Student Center. Service and delivery access to Alkek Library and Derrick Hall loading docks will be available, via Russell and Pickard Streets.
Starting on August 21, 2019, Matthews Street from Russell Circle to N. LBJ Street, Elm Street, Smith Hall Parking Lot will also be closed.
There will be delivery vehicle access to Russell Circle, Pickard Street, Buckner Street, and a portion of Matthews Street to serve the North Alkek Library loading dock and the Math Computer Science loading dock. All parking adjacent to Arnold Hall is closed. Texas State University 512.245.2202.
On Wednesday, November 27, 2019, a mobile construction crane will be erected in order to serve the Alkek Library Wittliff Gallery Expansion project.
The crane will mobilize and set-up at 6:00 a.m. and will demobilize by 4:00 p.m.
The crane will be staged on Talbot Street, near Alkek Library’s south loading dock. The sidewalk between this location and Jones Dining Hall will be temporarily closed to pedestrian traffic.
The Alkek Parking Garage will remain open, with access from Comanche Street only.
