The City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department’s Youth Services Division will host a Babysitters Training Class on Wednesday, June 28 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the San Marcos Activity Center, 501 E. Hopkins.
Youth ages 12 and up are invited to participate in this free program.
Parents must check in their child upon arrival between 9-9:30 a.m.
Representatives from the San Marcos Fire Department, Methodist Healthcare Ministries of South Texas Inc., Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, San Marcos Public Library, Texas State University, San Marcos Parks and Recreation, and Corridor Primary Care will present on a variety of topics.
While this class is not Red Cross certified, it will provide participants with knowledge and skills for effective babysitting.
