Spots Available In Baby Sign Language Workshops

Both workshops will give parents the opportunity to introduce sign language to their children ages five and under.

The City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department will host two Baby Sign Language workshops at the San Marcos Activity Center, located at 501 E Hopkins St. next week.

Introduction to Baby Sign Language will be held on Feb. 15 from 6-7 p.m., and Baby Sign Language Play Date will be held on Feb. 17 from 9:30-10:30 a.m.

Both workshops will give parents the opportunity to introduce sign language to their children ages five and under. Introduction to Baby Sign Language costs $5 per family, and the Baby Sign Language Play Date costs $7 per child.

Both events are taught by Amy McKnight of The Signing Connection. McKnight is certified through Signing Time Academy as a Baby Sign Language Instructor.
