Spring Lake Garden Club To Hold Yard And Garden Sale

Members are gathering various yard sale items such as garden and lawn equipment, patio items, plants, small household items, flower pots, books, light home furnishings, and decorative items.

Calling all Treasure Seekers.

Spring Lake Garden Club is having a huge community Yard and Garden Sale on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at the VFW parking lot on Hunter Rd between San Antonio Street and Wonder World from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Members are gathering various yard sale items such as garden and lawn equipment, patio items, plants, small household items, flower pots, books, light home furnishings, and decorative items.

Come and see “what you didn’t know you needed”!

Proceeds fund many Garden Club projects such as Yard of the Month, Christmas wreaths for city offices and community facilities, and scholarships for local high school students.   In addition, five Arbor Day trees which were planted are thriving and growing well with the unseasonably warm winter.

Spring Lake Garden Club membership is open to both women and men who are interested in gardening, especially learning about plants for the Texas weather and local conditions.

Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month from September through May.
