St. Jude’s Ranch for Children Celebrates Caring for Over 150 Children Annually

Become part of the Friendraiser Luncheon will present ways to “Be a Champion for Kids”
 
St. Jude’s Ranch for Children is hosting a “Friendraiser” Luncheon to celebrate the non-profit’s mission and accomplishments over the past 48 years. The organization works to break the cycle of abuse and neglect by mending spirits and renewing hope. They provide a spectrum of services from foster care to adoption services to over 150 families annually.
 
In attendance will be Mark Whitley, CEO of St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, Tara Roussett, Executive Director of St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, Texas and St. Jude’s Ranch Foster Families.
 
The Friendraiser will be on Tuesday, August 11th, 2015, from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m, and is being held at the McKenna Events Center – Lone Star Ballroom  801 W. San Antonio St. New Braunfels, TX 78130
 
Join St. Jude’s and you can be a part of this wonderful celebration of the mission of St. Jude’s Ranch for Children and highlight various ways for the community to be involved. Anyone can “Be a Champion for Kids” by donating and/or getting involved with the organization. All proceeds will go towards the continuation of carrying out the mission of St. Jude’s Ranch for Children: Transforming the lives of abused and at-risk children, young adults, and families by empowering them to create new chances, new choices and new hope in a caring community.
 

About St. Jude’s Ranch for Children

St. Jude’s Ranch for Children is a 501(c)(3) organization that helps transform the lives of abused, neglected and homeless children and young adults, ages newborn to 25 years old. It does this by providing a family living environment, preserving the sibling bond, and supplying the tools to break the cycle of abuse. The ultimate goal is to help these individuals find a forever family or achieve self-sufficiency. Approximately 60% of the children have been physically abused, 40% sexually abused, many have suffered both physical and sexual abuse, and 100% have been neglected.
