Summer Fun Registration Open For San Marcos Residents

Registration is open for residents and non-residents for the Summer Fun Program through the City of San Marcos.

 

Summer Fun will be a five-day program, Monday-Friday for eight weeks beginning Monday, June 13 from 7:30 a.m.- 5:30 p.m. at Hernandez and Bowie Elementary Schools. There will be no camp on July 4 and the week off July 11- 15. The last day of camp will be Friday, Aug. 12.

 

Campers will participate in board games, basketball, crafts, and one field trip per week, which is all included in the price. Summer Fun also partners with Texas State University for physical education. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided by the San Marcos school district.

 

To participate as a Camper, Parks and Rec requires your child(ren) to be 7 – 14 years. Children age 6 will be excepted if the child has completed First Grade, and parents will need to have proof/documentation of grade completion.

 

Cost for residents is $32/week and $50/week for non-residents, which can be paid weekly. The fee for residents for the entire program is $250 and for non-residents, $395.
