Sunfield Station Holds Official Ribbon Cutting In Buda

Sunfield Station had its official ribbon-cutting ceremony on August 16. The facility is a 30,000 square foot multi-use sports complex located on Main Street (2610 Main Street ) near US Foods on the City’s east side.

Indoor volleyball is the primary focus, but it can also be used for basketball or other sports. When you factor in the associated sports retail space, the building is around 60,000 square feet.

The Buda Economic Development Corporation had initial meetings with the company (WAMSFTX) in 2015 and then again in 2017 once the project was narrowing down locations. Buda EDC incentivized the sports complex component of the project.

Sunfield Station is now open and ready for use. Close to 15 volleyball tournaments have already been booked for next season. For more information on how to rent the facility please visit www.sunfieldstation.com.
