Suspect Arrested In Kyle Poco Loco Store Homicide

On Monday, November 2, at approximately 9:39 PM, patrol deputies with the Hays County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of the Poco Loco convenience store located at 798 High Rd in Kyle, TX regarding reports of shots fired.

The Hays County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division began an investigation for an Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon offense.

In the early stages of the investigation, it was learned that a juvenile male involved in this case was dropped off at an area hospital with a gunshot wound and was later pronounced deceased.

On November 6, 2020, Hays County Sheriff’s deputies made an arrest in reference to this deadly shooting.

The suspect is identified as Roberto Ochoa Jr. DOB 08/04/89 of Kyle. Ochoa has been charged with Capital Murder and is in custody at the Hays County jail.
