Tantra Coffeehouse was named February’s Downtown Business of the Month by the San Marcos Main Street Program for their investment in the downtown community, curb appeal and unique customer experience.
According to the Main Street Program, since opening in 2007, Tantra has transformed the downtown community by providing a warm and vibrant atmosphere; “They have a very diverse menu, including specialty coffee, craft food, beer and wine with vegan-friendly options.”
Tantra was one of the first outdoor music venues in San Marcos; the business still hosts performances and various events throughout the year.
“We are more than happy to award Tantra, because they go above and beyond our expectations of a downtown business,” said Interim Main Street Manager Josie Falletta. “Not only do they offer unique food and drinks, but also provide a thriving entertainment hub in Downtown San Marcos.”
Tantra Coffeehouse is located on 217 Hopkins St, and is open every day from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
