The State of Texas vs. Jason Floyd Tarr Murder Case Could Go To Jury Wednesday

The murder case the State of Texas vs. Jason Tarr concluded its seventh day in session at the Hays County Government Center in San Marcos today.

On Tuesday, May 9, Judge Jack Robison announced he believes the jury will be handed the case sometime tomorrow. The defense and the prosecution have been allotted an hour each for their closing arguments after which jurors will go into deliberation.

Judge Robison said once deliberation begins, the jurors will not be allowed to separate; if a verdict is not reached by 8 p.m., the jury will be sequestered and provided accommodations at a local hotel or motel for the night.

Court will resume tomorrow, Wednesday, May 10, at 9:00 a.m. Updates to come.
