Due to inclement weather and unsafe road conditions, curbside residential garbage collection will be unavailable to San Marcos customers beginning tomorrow, Feb. 15, 2021.
Texas Disposal Systems, which provides residential waste services to San Marcos, has decided to suspend services for the safety of its staff and customers. TDS will re-evaluate roads daily and curbside residential garbage collection will resume when conditions improve.
To avoid adding unnecessary hazards on roads, customers are asked to keep their carts at their homes. The City also asks customers to spread the word and courteously share this update with their neighbors if they see carts on the curb.
