The Governor’s Office of Economic Development and Tourism announced yesterday, it will be part of the largest-ever United States delegation to participate in Hannover Messe 2016, the world’s largest and most influential trade event for industrial technology. The trade mission and event is set to take place April 25–29, 2016, in Hannover, Germany.
For the first time in the Fair’s history, the United States will be the partner country, a status that provides more than 390 businesses and organizations in the U.S. delegation an unprecedented opportunity to be prominently featured throughout the event.
The State of Texas, with support from the Texas Economic Development Corporation and the Texas Workforce Commission, will lead a delegation of Texas small businesses to showcase their products and services to more than 200,000 potential trade partners from across the globe, including global investors, buyers, distributors, resellers and government officials.
“Hannover Messe offers an ideal environment for Texas businesses to form new international relationships and expand their networks, which will open the door to new business opportunities,” said Governor Abbott. “I am proud that some of Texas’ most innovative and forward-thinking businesses will be spreading the message that Texas is wide open for business.”
