Las Cruces, N. M – Three buses carrying members of the Texas State University football team and other members of the university community were involved in a multi-vehicle accident along Interstate 10 near Vinton, Texas, prior to a scheduled football game in Las Cruces, New Mexico, on Saturday.
Five Texas State individuals, including one player, and a bus driver were injured in the accident and transported to nearby hospitals, but their injuries were not considered to be life-threatening. The game was postponed until 3:30 p.m. central time.
