Texas State Hosts Drive-In Voter Registration Event

SAN MARCOS – The Texas State 2020 Elections Task Force at Texas State University will host a #BeTheChange voter registration drive-in Monday, Oct. 5 in the University Events Center parking lot.

The event will run 8 a.m.-8 p.m. and feature Texas State student-athletes, cheerleaders, and Boko the Bobcat.

In observance of COVID-19 safety precautions, participants wishing to register don’t need to get out of their vehicles. Volunteers will come to vehicle windows safely to help get participants registered to vote.

This event is sponsored by the Texas State Department of Athletics, Texas State Voter Friendly Campus Team, Move Texas, Texas Rising, Young Conservatives of Texas State, and College Democrats.
