SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State men’s basketball program rounded out its signing class on Thursday with the signing of Eric Terry out of Temple College. He is the eighth signee for the Bobcats this year.
“We were very fortunate to sign Eric this late in the recruiting process. He is a 6-foot-8-inch, 230-pound center that had a good freshman season at Temple College,” said head coach Danny Kaspar. “Eric gives us another legitimate center and has three seasons of eligibility remaining. I feel he has great potential and I look forward to working with him to develop it.”
In his lone season at Temple College, Terry averaged nine points and five rebounds per game. The incoming sophomore made 59 percent of his shots and converted 65 percent of his free throw attempts.
Joining Terry in this year’s signing class are fellow junior college transfers Tyler Blount, Deris Duncan and Immanuel King and freshman Marlin Davis, Maxwell Starwood, Nijal Pearson and Nedeljko Prijovic.
