Texas State Men’s Basketball Set For Business Trip In Arkansas

SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State men’s basketball team (19-5, 8-3 Sun Belt) will travel to Arkansas to challenge the Arkansas State Red Wolves (10-14, 4-7 Sun Belt) at 7 p.m. on Feb. 14 at the First National Bank Arena, and then travel 137 miles southwest to face the Little Rock Trojans (9-15, 4-7 Sun Belt) at 4 p.m. on Feb. 16 at the Jack Stephens Center.  

The Bobcats are on a two-game winning streak after edging Appalachian State 74-71 on Feb. 7 and defeated Coastal Carolina 65-57 on Feb. 9 in front of 4,583 fans in Strahan Arena.

The win over CCU was No. 93 for head coach Danny Kaspar with the Texas State men’s basketball program. He passes Henry G. Shands (1924-35) and predecessor Doug Davalos (2006-13) for third most all-time.
