Texas State To Showcase Costume Design, Production During Regency Ball

SAN MARCOS – The Department of Theatre and Dance at Texas State University will present the Regency Ball, an exhibition showcasing character design and garment construction within the Regency Period, Nov. 19-20 in the Performing Arts Center.

The event will run from 1 to 5 PM on both days. Admission is free and open to the public.

The Regency Ball celebrates the research and work of both MFA Costume Design and BFA Costume Production students in the Department of Theatre and Dance amidst the pandemic’s landscape. 

The Regency Period was from 1811 to 1820.

Special event parking for $5 is available in the Edward Gary Street Garage, 405 N. Edward Gary Street.

The garage is located on the corner of University Drive and Edward Gary Street. Parking is cash only—credit/debit card transactions will not be accepted.
