SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State head women’s soccer coach Kat Conner has announced three camps will be held this summer, consisting of two day camps and one overnight. The three camps will enhance the capabilities of attendees in the four components of soccer: technical, tactical, physical and psychological.
The Bobcat coaching staff will hold the Half Day Academy and Full Day Academy camps June 13-16. Both sessions will see campers divided by age and skill level and be under the guidance of the soccer staff. The full day camp will be more demanding as it consists of working on tactics and psychological aspects of the game. Both will begin at 8 a.m. with check-out for the half day occurring at noon while the full day session ends at 4:30 p.m. daily.
From July 17-20, the Overnight ID Camp will take place. Campers get to experience what it is like to be a Bobcat soccer player as they will perform the same training sessions that the Texas State team does during its preseason. Along with the coaching staff, members of the team will also assist in helping run the camp.
