The City Of Buda Cancels City Council Election

Early voting opens October 22 and ends November 2. The general election ballot in Buda will include all federal, state, local and county races except City Council.

All City Council races on the ballot are uncontested. Therefore, the City of Buda announced the cancellation of its City Council election in November.

However, Buda City Hall will still serve as a polling location for federal, state, local and county races in the November 6 general election. Early voting opens October 22 and ends November 2.

At the June 5, 2018, City Council meeting, Council approved the district lines for Districts A, B, and C. These single member districts will be used as boundaries for electing City Councilmembers beginning with the November 2018 Election.

Early Voting Dates, Times, & Locations

During early voting, you can vote at any location in Hays County. In Buda, Buda City Hall will serve as a polling location for early voting.
