The Holiday Inn San Marcos Now Open

by, Chauntel Seminerio

The San Marcos Chamber of Commerce welcomed its newest member February 18th with the ceremonial ribbon cutting for the new Holiday Inn of San Marcos.

The newest addition to the multitude of lodging available along the I-35 corridor, hosts 108 rooms, no suites, 1 restaurant offering banquet services, a bar and expandable banquet/conference room with capacity for almost 300.

The rooms are stylishly decorated, and include top of the line Serta mattresses, cable and Wi-Fi provided by Grande Communications, and colorful splashes of the owner’s own personal style throughout the common areas, setting the new hotel apart from its older counterpart Embassy Suites, across the highway.

The one restaurant, Springs Bistro and Bar, operated by a modest staff of three, serves breakfast 6-9-30 A.M. daily, 7-10:30 a.m. weekends, and dinner 4:30-10 p.m.

The hotel is located 105 Bintu Drive, San Marcos, located on I-35 South Frontage Road before Wonder World Drive.

Welcome to the Corridor Holiday Inn!
