The Price Center Hosts DuBois Gallery 10 Pop-Up Event

“We are excited to again be hosting a DuBois Pop-Up event,” said Clay DeStefano, executive director. “The variety and style of art along with the regular followers of the event always create a wonderful experience.”

San Marcos, TX – A total of 18 artists will be featured as the Price Center hosts the DuBois Gallery 10, a local pop-up art event, this Saturday, Sept. 30, from 5-9 p.m. All work displayed in the show is for sale. The event is free, open to the public, and will include complimentary hors d’oeuvres and wine.

This latest installment of the DuBois Gallery will feature alumni artists Rene Perez, Tony Belmonte, Thom Rogers, Mat Jobson, Lisa McPike Smith, Norman Bean, Patrick Steger, John Roof, Thomas Myers, K Knadle, Courtney Crayton, David Davis, and Darin Wood.  Five additional area artists, Eric Quinn, Zoe Thomas, Madeline DeStefano, Sonja Nagy, and Amy Hall will be guest artists.

As always, Steger’s Chiffonade will provide delicious, unique hors d’oeuvres and Adam Johnson will provide live bittersweet, melancholic Blues. Guests to the event can also take in the current shows on display throughout the Center focused on the San Marcos Springs and San Marcos Mermaids.

This will be the third installment of DuBois Pop Gallery at the Price Center this year. The Price Center hosts a variety of artists each month in unique, historic and repurposed venues including two former church sanctuaries. A live art gallery is a way for the Center to bring the community together through the creative process and intellectual dialogue.

“We are excited to again be hosting a DuBois Pop-Up event,” said Clay DeStefano, executive director. “The variety and style of art along with the regular followers of the event always create a wonderful experience.”
