SAN MARCOS – The Department of Theatre and Dance at Texas State will offer a full schedule of virtual performances for the spring 2021 semester.
The department is prioritizing health and safety while trying to ensure students get the necessary experience required for their degree programs.
“We are following all Texas State COVID safety precautions plus implementing some of our own added safety measures to allow us to rehearse in the theatres together,” said Sarah Maines, interim chair of the Department of Theatre and Dance. “As per said safety precautions, all productions will be masked and distanced at all times. We will not have audiences. We will be filming these productions in our theatres and streaming them for ticket holders to enjoy.”
