TODAY: Ribbon Cutting For Fischer Store Road Bridge In Hays County

Hays County Precinct 3 Commissioner Will Conley, in partnership with the Texas Department of Transportation, will host a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion and opening of the Fischer Store Road bridge to traffic after being destroyed in the May 2015 Blanco River flood. The dedication event will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, at 101 Stone Canyon in Wimberley, TX.
The Fischer Store Road bridge, which is an important transportation link for citizens, businesses and school children, was destroyed after a historic flood occurred over Memorial Day weekend 2015. This ribbon cutting will be a celebration of one element of our lives being made whole again.
Please join us as we celebrate this important occasion. All are invited and welcome.
* Please note that parking is limited. Large vehicles may find maneuvering difficult, so please plan ahead and carpool, if possible.
