Below are the top three items Buda City Council will tackle this week.
G.2. Consideration of nominating and appointing board members to the Buda Economic Development Corporation (EDC Director Ann Miller) Agenda Item Report – EDC Board Appointments April.
Tommy Poer resigned her position in January leaving a vacancy for the term from January 2017-19. The EDC advertised for applicants with a deadline of March 8, 2017. However, given that the City of Buda was also in the process of their annual Board and Commission applications, the EDC continued to accept applications through March 28, 2017. The EDC has received 6 applications as part of the greater Board & Commissions Application process, with several applicants being interested in more than one board.
G.3. Consideration of nominating and appointing members to the following City Boards and Commissions: Construction Board of Adjustments, Historic Preservation Commission, Library Commission, Parks and Recreation Commission, Planning and Zoning Commission, and Zoning Board of Adjustment (City Secretary Alicia Ramirez)
G.5. Deliberation and possible action on the Main Street -Proposition 3 design (Assistant City Manager Micah Grau).
