On Sunday, Oct. 21, 2018, the Annual Livestrong Challenge Ride will cut through Buda. This will impact several roads, including Old San Antonio Road, Main Street, FM 967, FM 1626, FM 2770, etc.
There will be a large number cyclists traveling through Buda, so please use caution on the roadways.
The 2018 LIVESTRONG Challenge helps benefit the revolutionary LIVESTRONG Cancer Institutes of the Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin.
For over 20 years, Team LIVESTRONG have been changing cancer care in Austin and beyond, and they are excited to be able to reach even more survivors through the LIVESTRONG Cancer Institutes.
Riders come from around the country for the 20, 45, 65 or 100-mile bike rides as Team LIVESTRONG tries to reach a fundraising goal of $500,000.
