TRAFFIC ALERT: FM 150 Closed In Both Directions At Double Crossing

Hays County Courthouse, San Marcos, TX  – Texas Department of Transportation has informed Hays County that Farm to Market 150 is closed in both directions at Double Crossing for repairs to the road and bridge damaged by flooding.

Barricades are in place. The county has not received an indication of when the road might reopen.

  • Part of the problem when the double crossings are closed that TxDOT / Hays County has never addressed it that the closed signs are only in front of the creek. You don't know they are closed until you drive for 15 min. They need signs at 3237/150 before turning and at Elder Hill Rd or the 1826/150 intersection.
    You lose at least 30 min because of inadequate signage!
