On Monday, Feb. 25, the City of Buda released a traffic alert warning drivers to be prepared for traffic when traveling on FM 967 on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The city will close a section of FM 967 near Downtown Buda between Austin Street and Main Street for two days while utility crews do utility work.
The closure will last from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM on both Tuesday and Wednesday. However, Main Street will remain open to traffic.
Drivers needing to travel west on FM 967 are advised to turn west onto Ash Street and then south on Austin access FM 967 or turn west on Peach Street and then north onto Austin Street.
Weather permitting the utility work is expected to be completed by Wednesday afternoon.
