On Friday, September 11, 2020, a Hays County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputy stopped a motor vehicle occupied by two adults and two children for a traffic violation.
During the motor vehicle stop the deputy detected the odor of marijuana, leading to the seizure of approximately 1.83 pounds of marijuana and 108.78 grams of THC products, including THC edibles, THC vape cartridges, and THC wax/dabs.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as:
Rodriguez was booked into the Hays County Jail for Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2 >= 4G < 400G, a First-Degree Felony, and Possession of Marijuana > 4OZ <= 5LBS, a State Jail Felony.
