Trail of Lights Displays Going Up In Buda’s Stagecoach Park

“We’re going to work on our retro trail and our hunting and fishing trail.”

This year’s Trail of Lights event will have something for everyone.

“This is the beginning of a long, arduous two weeks,” said Parks Supervisor Juan Mosqueda.

In the end, all of the hard work is worth the pay-off. Displays for Trail of Lights are going up this week in Stagecoach Park.

“A lot of new displays are going to be added to the old displays. There are going to be a lot of interactive displays.”

There will be your traditional displays like Cat in the Hat and there are some new themes this year.

“We’re going to work on our retro trail and our hunting and fishing trail. One of our Parks and Recreation employees did a displayf or all of our missing in actions soldiers, military personnel, and EMT’s.”

Our Parks and Recreation employees have created many of the displays themselves.

“There are also people in the community who are sponsors that come and put up a Christmas display that represents something they do in the community. The biggest thing is that Trail of Lights is Free to the public. It’s a good place to bring your Grandkids or your family that is visiting from out of town.”

Trail of Lights begins on Dec. 7th with Senior Night from 6 to 9 pm. It continues on Dec. 8th, 9th, 14th, 15th, 16th 17th from 6 to 10 p.m.
