TxDOT, Lone Star Siteworks To Begin Road Construction Work On RM 967 And Main Street In Buda

On Friday, Oct. 25, TxDOT and contractor Lone Star Siteworks will begin the RM 967 and Main Street improvement project in Downtown Buda. Lone Star Siteworks plans to mobilize on Friday, Oct. 25, with traffic control signage and barricades. Construction will begin next week.

 The general scope of work for this project includes:

  • Creating turning lanes and through lanes to address traffic flow
  • Reconfiguring of sidewalks, signing and striping for enhanced pedestrian safety
  • Maintaining existing diagonal parking
  • Relocating of traffic signal poles

The project is expected to complete in the spring of 2020.
