TxDOT Seeks Bids For $1.8M Maintenance Project

TxDOT has several plans for 2018 in Travis County, which are projected to cost up to $19.8 million.

Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) officials plan to seek bids in January for a $1.8 million preventative maintenance project on Ranch-to-Market Road 620 in northwest Travis County.

Expected to gain environmental clearance early this year is an $11 million project to create a bypass lane connecting to RM 2222 north of Bonaventure Drive and RM 620 east of Steiner Ranch Blvd.

A $7 million project to rebuild a 1.2-mile portion of RM 2222 from Bonaventure Drive to Ribelin Ranch Road into a six-lane divided highway is also expected to receive environmental clearance in 2018.
