TxDOT To Begin Maintenance Work On Hopkins

After a one week delay due to rain, TxDOT is on schedule to begin the Hopkins Street mill and overlay project on Monday, June 13.

Crews will begin on the north end near Moore Street and work south towards Bishop. The work is expected to take two weeks, weather permitting.

Through traffic will be detoured to Craddock via Moore Street at the north end, and Bishop at the south end of the project limits. Homeowners will have access to their driveways during construction, as will mail delivery and trash collection vehicles.

For more information on the project, please call the City of San Marcos Engineering Department at 512.393.8130.
