In celebration of the season, the staff of the Gary Job Corps Center held an “Ugly Sweater” contest during their staff meeting in preparation of the departure of the students for winter break.
In celebration of the season, the staff of the Gary Job Corps Center held an “Ugly Sweater” contest during their staff meeting in preparation of the departure of the students for winter break.
The students will depart on December 16th and return on January 2, 2018. Gary Job Corps is a federally funded vocational and academic training facility owned by the Department of Labor and operated by Management & Training Corporation.
Over 1400 students can receive credentials in 18 trades in the construction, manufacturing, health care, office administration, and corrections/security vocations. Also available to the students are high school equivalences, diplomas, and driver’s education.
