Central Texas Medical Center Announces Sponsorship Of Texas State Athletics

CTMC will be an “Official Proud Sponsor” of Texas State Athletics beginning in September

SAN MARCOS, TEXAS — Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC) today announced that the hospital has become an “Official Proud Partner” of Texas State University Athletics. In this capacity, CTMC branding will appear in all major sports venues including Bobcat Stadium (football), Strahan Coliseum (basketball and volleyball) and the Bobcat Baseball complex.

“Our partnership with Texas State Athletics is a logical extension of our long-standing relationship with the university,” said Anthony Stahl, Ph.D., chief executive and president of CTMC. “All 700 employees at CTMC are thrilled to support the Bobcats and look forward to celebrating their successes this season.”

“All of us in the Athletic Department welcome CTMC as an Official Proud Partner of Texas State Athletics,” said Dr. Larry Teis, athletic director at Texas State University. “Having our hometown hospital as a partner is a fantastic addition to our sponsorship lineup, and we couldn’t be more excited to have them on board.”

As the only local two-time recipient of the prestigious “A” grade for quality from the Leapfrog Group, Central Texas Medical Center is—and has been—on the forefront of providing the highest level of health care to citizens in Central Texas for almost a century. Likewise, Texas State University and its athletic department have provided an outstanding training ground both in the classroom and on the field or court to its thousands of students. The partnership between the two entities will allow each to capitalize on the strength of the other and elevate both brands in the San Marcos community and beyond.
