The University Police Department (UPD) is asking the public for help in the location of suspect Mitchell Janzen George.

George reportedly threatened and stalked Texas State staff and faculty members. UPD is investigating reports of George having made “harassing phone calls” to staff and faculty.

George is described as a white male, 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 185 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He is believed to be homeless but staying in the San Marcos or South Austin area, according to UPD.

UPD asked anyone who has seen George or knows where he is to call 512-245-2805 or contact Crime Stoppers of Texas State at 512-245-7867.
