UPDATE: Hays County Sheriff’s Office Identifies Body Of Missing Dripping Springs Man

On May 8, Hays County Sheriff’s office received a missing person’s call regarding a dripping springs man, who was last seen on Saturday, May 5, around 10 PM.

On May 14, 2018, at approximately 2:00 PM, the Hays County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 3400 block of McGregor Lane in Dripping Springs about a badly decomposed body that was discovered in a heavily wooded area.

The subsequent autopsy identified the deceased as:

Domingo Alcaraz, Hispanic Male, Date of Birth 08/04/1972

Mr. Alcaraz was reported as a Missing Person on May 8, 2018. Next of kin has been notified.

The cause of death has yet to be determined, and the investigation is ongoing; however, no foul play is suspected.

On Saturday, May 5, 2018, Alcaraz fell and sustained injuries to his forehead and his tongue; he was last seen around 10:00 PM that night.

Once the Hays County Sheriff’s Office was notified, search crews including K-9 units, drones, Citizens Emergency Response Team (CERT), North Hays Fire Department and sheriff’s office personnel were mobilized. The search is continuing at this time.
