Four people were involved in a collision, Thursday night, west of Dripping Springs.
North Hays Fire responded to a major accident at 6:43 pm. Two people were killed when the vehicles collided at US 290 and Retha Drive in front of Dripping Springs High School. Another two were injured. Three vehicles were involved in the accident.
According to authorities, the driver of a Toyota did not yield to traffic before turning left onto US 290. The vehicle struck a Honda Civic, driven by Jose Luis Aguilar-Soto, 47, heading eastbound and caused the vehicle to spin into the westbound lanes. An escalade, heading westbound, crashed into Aguilar-Soto’s Civic. The Civic rolled into a ditch.
Jose and Rodolfo Aguilar-Soto, 56, were declared dead at the scene.
