The City of San Marcos Engineering Department will hold a neighborhood meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 18 at 6 p.m. at the San Marcos Senior Citizen Center, 810 Arizona, to discuss the scheduling of utility improvements in the Victory Gardens Neighborhood.
CenterPoint Energy will begin working in the rights-of-way between Ellis and Eisenhower Streets. Construction began in early November and will take two to three months to complete, depending on weather.
City staff will report on CenterPoint’s schedule for the rest of the neighborhood as well as the San Marcos Electric Utility work that will follow.
Residents and property owners within the project area are encouraged to attend the event.
