Washington Monthly Names Texas State Among ‘Best Value’ Universities

SAN MARCOS –  Washington Monthly  has recognized Texas State University for being among the top schools in the nation with regard to “Best Bang for the Buck.”
The list featured more than 300 schools with Texas State ranking 30th. Texas State was one of only two Texas Schools featured among the top 50—Texas A&M University took the 13th spot.
Rankings were determined after considering graduation rates, availability of financial aid, student loan default rate and the quality of students measured by ACT and SAT performance of public and private universities.
