WEATHER UPDATE: Additional Night Of Freezing Temps

ANOTHER ROUND OF FREEZING AND NEAR FREEZING TEMPERATURES EXPECTED SATURDAY MORNING.

 

TEMPERATURES UNTIL 6AM CST SAT, ARE EXPECTED TO FALL BELOW FREEZING ONCE AGAIN SATURDAY MORNING ACROSS THE HILL COUNTRY AND PORTIONS OF THE SOUTHERN EDWARDS PLATEAU.

 

TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE FROM 29-32 DEGREES IN THIS AREA. FARTHER SOUTH AND EAST, MANY AREAS WILL BE ON THE CUSP OF FREEZING.

 

THIS IS INCLUDES MUCH OF THE I-35 CORRIDOR AND THE AUSTIN METRO AREA WITH READINGS CURRENTLY EXPECTED TO BE IN THE 32-34 DEGREE RANGE.

 

HOWEVER, IF CURRENT CLOUD COVER IS ABLE TO DISSIPATE FURTHER, THEN SLIGHTLY LOWER TEMPERATURES AND A LIGHT FREEZE COULD OCCUR.

 

CLOUD COVER AND TEMPERATURE TRENDS WILL BE MONITORED CLOSELY THROUGH EARLY SATURDAY IF A FREEZE WARNING IS POTENTIALLY NEEDED IN THESE FRINGE AREAS.
