Wednesday’s Dripping Springs Shooting Started With An Argument

Deputies learned that an argument had ensued between the victim and the suspect when the victim was shot. The suspect was not at the scene when deputies had arrived.

On March 8, 2017 at approximately 4:23pm, the Hays County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call for suspicious circumstances at the 28000 block of Ranch Road 12 in Dripping Springs, Texas. Responding deputies arrived and found a 26 year old male subject with a gunshot wound. The male subject was conscious and breathing and was taken to an area hospital in Austin with a non-life threatening injury.

Deputies learned that an argument had ensued between the victim and the suspect when the victim was shot. The suspect was not at the scene when deputies had arrived. The suspect was identified as

GROSBIN A. SABILLON     DOB:  04/11/1986        5’7” 160 pounds

Black hair and Brown Eyes Med skin tone  No visible tattoos

He left the scene in an unknown direction of travel carrying a handgun and driving a vehicle described as

2006 Red Dodge 4 door truck with tinted windows  No license plate available.

A warrant for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, a second degree felony, has been issued for Sabillon.  Sabillon is considered armed and dangerous.
